Watch Plus

Although most of us wear a watch every day, why is it the watch has not changed in function much over the past 5 years, when technology has? What I would like my watch to do.

Storage Device: Since I am wearing my watch, and it usually travels with me, why not have 32Mb - 128Mb of data storage available for data. A simple usb cable would enable trasfer from device to watch and back. A slower method for data-trasfer could be a java application (downloaded from the web) that used the computers screen to transmit data (flashing the screen to transmitt the data - the transfer rate would be slow)

Cool / Fun device: Imagine being able to download new user-interfaces for the watch, screen-savers (animated) and mini-applications. Better still, imagine being able to develop your own user-interface or screen-saver or applications in flash.

Colour screens: (why watches still monochrome?)

Bluetooth enabled: Your watch could become the user-interface to your mobile phone, your pda etc
